| It would not be right to
have pages on a Quo guitar web site and not mention the fabulous signature
guitars introduced by Fender in 2003. At the time of their launch, there were a number of interesting reviews in the main guitar publications (someone should tell the guy who wrote the review in 'Guitarist' that a G&L bridge does NOT facilitate a string through body configuration!!). Every one of these guitars we have come across have played like a dream. The Parfitt model in particular is a real 'rocker'! Both guitars are finished 'as new', and both are real classy lookers. Special mention for the necks though. Both have been carefully shaped exactly as per the originals they pay tribute to, and are a joy to play. The Rossi copy is true to the original with a separate maple finger board. (Our only gripes are that the lacquer finish on both necks is not the right colour, and that the Parfitt replica has a 'slab' finger board). Although neither bridge is exactly the same as Quo counterpart (how could Fender produce a guitar with a G&L bridge?!), both are fully adjustable and retain the look and feel of Rossi's and Parfitt's. |

| Note that the serial numbers on these guitars are prefixed
with the letter 'Q' (what else!), and can be
seen on the rear of the neck by the neck pocket. Next to the serial number are the words 'Crafted in Japan'. The guitars came boxed, and unfortunately the price did not include a gig bag or hard case. However you did get a copy of the Heavy Traffic album! |
