| 'Birds-Eye' Knot | ||
| Hi Bob! Tony has asked me to put these pictures on his website. They show close-ups of your neck, and I've highlighted a small 'birds-eye' knot which appeared when Tony applied the tint to the neck. | ||

| The picture below shows the back of one of
Tony's own guitars which he uses in the band. These types of knot can be
quite common, and often add to the finished figuring of a body or neck.
Unfortunately, your neck has only the one and its right in the middle of the
first and second frets. There is no 'dent' or anything, the fingerboard is perfectly smooth, it is literally a small knot in the wood, which didn't show itself until the lacquer was applied. |
